Today we went to Mount Prospect park, played in the field and on the playground, we also had a picnic! We noticed a new development with our classroom caterpillars, they have starting creating cocoons! In just a couple more weeks we will have butterflies in the room :)
This coming Monday we will be starting a unit on Outer Space! We will explore the Solar system and all of the planets through art, cooking and science projects.
We started flower arranging in the class room, this is a traditional Montessori work and the Hummingbirds have loved it!

Mila turned 3 years old!!! Muffin party
We got 9 caterpillars and we have been watching them grow bigger and bigger! Today we noticed that a few have made cocoons and the rest were starting the process. Pretty soon we will have butterflies :)
