Gobble Gobble

Here's our giant turkey ready to go!

A week to be thankful for..

Hello everyone!
The Hummingbirds have been busy busy the past couple of weeks. This month has flown by so fast and now Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This week we talked about hibernation, we read a few books about hibernating bears and we put our classroom bear in his den. He will stay there until March! We talked a little about Thanksgiving and made Native American headdresses. We put together our giant thankful turkey, check it out when you have time! It is on the Hummingbird bulletin board located down the hall across from the room. Thank you all for talking with your Hummingbirds about thankfulness and helping us complete that project! we also made little handprint turkeys, because it's not Thanksgiving until handprint turkeys are made, right? It looks like we have a good spread going for the thanksgiving breakfast on Wednesday. We are excited to see everyone.
For those of you traveling this week, safe travels and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We tried to take a lot of pictures this week so here they are...
